Art Direction for Video + Print
Starting with my favorite project I had the privilege of leading for Burger King Kids, from the original concept and writing the script, working with the director on set, and seeing it through to delivery. Clients raved about it in our final meeting.
This was one of those briefing is on Saturday and scripts are due Monday type of assignments. The campaign had been so successful after it launched, it was renewed and continued running for about four years.
I worked on a lot of food and beverage as an art director, which I kind of love because it brings people together.
Our agency had won the Bonefish Grill account in the middle of a rebrand so the restaurant needed a somewhat “unbranded” campaign. Our account director wasn’t that good of a hand model so I suppose this was also my first on-camera gig.
More food, not my hands…
Then a massive production for a seasonal campaign for Living Spaces. Finally, no food. Lots of styling, animation, and telecine!
Graphic Design
This was repurposed from a weird assignment that I saw as an opportunity to create this image of a dinosaur traveling that had been on my mind for a while. Something I love about creative work is exploring your own mind for old ideas that might work in a new space.
For about a year and a half, I was designing a new sales deck every few weeks for a commercial real estate advisory. I was unfamiliar with the subject matter and volume of information these contained, but they actually sold every property I helped bring to market!
I spent about a year a half back in Washington, DC, where I had actually tried getting a writing job but Truth Initiative needed a designer so I jumped in.
My very first jr. art director job, straight out of school, experiential work for the American Express OPEN brand presence at The New York Times Small Business Summit.
Lastly, some minimalist out-of-home executions pitched for Netflix.
